Wicked is WICKED!

I have seen a number of Broadway shows. I've seen my son in Les Miserables; both he and the show were incredible! I've seen him in Shrek the Musical; the show is fantastic and, of course, so is Ben! I saw Spamalot; totally enjoyed that! (It was the first Bway show we ever saw!) We saw Xanadou; totally enjoyed that as well. We saw the (something) County Spelling Bee. Totally enjoyed that as well.

Last evening we saw Wicked. Ok, my friends who have seen said I have to see it and I would like it. Wow! What a show! No wonder it's darn near impossible to get tickets. The voice of Dee Roscioli who plays the "Wicked Witch" is one of the best I've ever heard. Range (both pitch and dynamics), clarity, and power. We were totally impressed.

Now, I can't wait to hear Ben again in Shrek this Friday. He is my favorite male vocalist. Even if you dial out the parental bias, he rocks!
